The Ministry of Health (MOH) has “preliminarily confirmed” 682 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday (17 May).
This brings the total number of cases in Singapore to 28,038.
The majority of cases continue to involve Work Permit holders living in dormitories.
4 Singaporeans and Permanent Residents (PRs) are also part of today’s cases, accounting for just ~0.6%.
This is the 8th day that Singapore has reported less than 5 cases involving Singaporeans and PRs.
The nation last reported more than 5 of such cases on 9th May, when there were 9 cases from these 2 demographics.
MOH will be releasing more information regarding today’s cases later tonight.
