Spilling the tea

Of course, Dee Kosh understood that his opinion was very unpopular.

He believed that BTS had talent but the “new music was so meh”.

And posted “evidence”.

Fans being fans, defended their idols like crazy.

Dee Kosh stuck to the same argument that he’s entitled to his own opinion.

And  that ARMYs were “toxic”.

Drama gone wrong

A few hours later Dee Kosh announced in a video that his YouTube channel was deleted.

The video, posted on Twitter, starts off with Dee Kosh in tears over the hate he was getting for stating his opinion. He claims that he doesn’t hate BTS but that the ARMYs had taken things too far by contacting his radio bosses.

Dee Kosh told fans to move on and called them “bullies” and “toxic”.

In a tweet, he apologised to his viewers because there would be “no videos today”.

Missing receipts?

Like all dramas, it doesn’t end there.

A netizen allegedly contacted YouTube and said that Dee deactivated his channel himself.

They compared what terminated accounts look like and compared it to Dee’s channel.

A netizen got in touch with YouTube and asked if mass reporting could lead to account termination. YouTube replied that reported videos are not automatically taken down. They are reviewed and only terminated if they violate community guidelines.

While it’s hard to get your channel deleted, some think that his videos could be classified as “hateful content”, hence the removal.

Too much drama?

While we’re not entirely sure whether his account was terminated or set to private, everyone had a lot to say.

Some fans claimed that Dee was using BTS to gain more recognition.

Others were ashamed of the fandom.

But maybe the drama went too far?

Bad blood

Whatever the case, we’re all here for the bad blood between ARMYs and Dee Kosh.

It is, however, a first for netizens to debate on how an account was deleted.

Do you think YouTube terminated Dee Kosh’s YouTube channel?

Or did the ARMYs report his channel and contact his boss?
