Start making a list and check it twice. With the festive season coming up, brands are rolling out new events and promotions for you to indulge in the festive joy.
Here are 4 new things for you to eat, see, and do:
What better way to celebrate Christmas than with the turkey’s cousin?
The popular KFC Red Hot Box has made a comeback – a box consists of the red hot chicken with flaming hot sauce, along with a newly added double chocolate egg tart.
If you’re wondering if it’s worth the buck, influencers Naomi Neo and Tan JianHao had a made a video about the Red Hot Box four months back:
McDonald’s is offering an early Christmas gift for your taste buds.
New offerings include a clubhouse burger (choose from either beef or grilled chicken patty), red velvet McFlurry with Oreo Cookie bits and — lo and behold — truffle fries! McD’s has certainly caught on to the truffle craze and we sure hope this doesn’t disappoint.
Merry yummy season taste buds from McDonald’s.
It’s the time of the year again — Singapore’s biggest yuletide fair is back!
The fair spans 35,000 square metres across four main areas, including the spectacular Luminarie light sculptures that made a debut last year:
Visitors can also expect the Fairground near The Meadow, the Festive Market at the Supertree Grove, and a brand new Christmas Toyland floral display in the Flower Dome.
That’s not all — be prepared to be entertained with a vintage carousel, game stalls, funfair rides, and even an ice skating rink and an indoor snow playground.
Opening hours: 27 Nov 2015 to 5 Jan 2016, 4pm to 12am daily
The Future of Us (yes, that’s a pretty odd name) is an exhibition that aims to get all of use to dream of the future of Singapore.
What could Singapore possibly look like in another 50 years? Seamless transport for persons with disabilities? Crops grown on HDB flats? A distinct lack of haze for 12 months per year? Well, one can dream.
The Future of Us features 4 domes, featuring interactive exhibits and immersive films, each celebrating the as yet unwritten future of Singapore. The exhibition is quick to reinforce the idea of a future not cast in stone, while reminding us that everything we do now could yet have an effect on the Singapore for tomorrow.
The outdoor area features a playground with a hidden twist, and a very patriotic looking lion.
Also, the exhibition is completely free! You just need to sign up at the FoU website. Be sure to hurry though, because tickets for December 2015 have already been 85% booked.
What do you want to see in our future?
Where: The Future of Us is located across the Meadow Bridge at Gardens By The Bay. For detailed directions, click here.
Opening Hours: 1 Dec 2015 to 8 Mar 2016, 9am to 9pm
