Teaching one’s children can be a rewarding experience, but it can also at times, be infuriating.
Recently, a 36-year-old mother from Hubei, China reportedly got so fed up teaching her son how to do his homework that she suffered a heart attack which nearly proved fatal.
According to Sin Chew Daily, Ms Wang would help her son with revision on a daily basis. Her son is currently in Primary 3, which puts him at 8 or 9 years old.
Recently, her son was stuck on a particularly difficult math question.
Ms Wang’s son reportedly failed to understand the question despite numerous rounds of explanation.
Ms Wang said, “she tried explaining umpteenth times, but her son still could not answer the question.”
She was so frustrated that she apparently felt like hitting her son.
Suddenly, Ms Wang reportedly felt a strange sensation in her heart and breathlessness.

She immediately phoned her husband and told him to fetch her to the nearest hospital.
As she arrived at the hospital, Ms Wang reportedly felt tightness in her chest and had broken into sweat.
According to doctors, Ms Wang could have died of heart failure if she arrived any later. Thankfully, her condition has since stabilised.
Ms Wang later told Beijing Time in an interview that this was the first time feeling so livid in the past year when she had been mentoring her child.

Heart conditions like the one Ms Wang experienced are reportedly seeing a spike in younger folks. This, according to medical professionals, is caused by unhealthy diets, and other emotional factors.
Hence, doctors advise parents to “control their emotions” when teaching their children.
MS News hope Ms Wang makes a full recovery soon.
