If tomorrow (12 Dec) happens to be your day off, you’ll be rewarded. IKEA is having a promotion on their chicken wings for all IKEA FAMILY card members — 2 wings for $1.
Considering the size of their chicken wings, it may just be better dollar per gram of flesh value than any of the cai fan, zi char or Muslim food store you’ll find in Singapore.
If you break it down further, that’s $1 divided by the 2 chicken wings, which if you aren’t terrible at math, is 1 chicken wing for 50 cents.
That’s 5 pieces of 10-cent coins which you may have kept in your wallet as spare change (thank goodness you didn’t just tell the cashier to keep the change out of laziness to store them!).
Here’s a picture of their chicken wings because when you’re talking about food, you have to have pictures. Pictures, while only pixels, can evoke quite an appetite.
Those delicious meatballs you see in the background aren’t on promotion.
But you can get them anyway — unless you plan on having only plates of wings, which really wouldn’t be acting out of sorts since let’s be real, their wings are simple and glorious.
In case someone spun you around too many times on your roller chair and induced a temporary amnesia and you’ve forgotten where all the IKEA stores are:
