A lorry recently drove through a traffic junction in Bedok Reservoir and T-boned a white van in the process.
The collision sent the van toppling before landing on its back.
Footage of the accident was shared on the ROADS.sg Facebook page.
According to the post, the accident occurred at about 3.40pm on Tuesday (5 Nov).
Based on the surroundings, the incident took place at the junction of Bedok Reservoir Road and Kaki Bukit Road 4.
While the blue lorry travelling through Bedok Reservoir Road drove through the junction, vehicles behind it came to a stop at the traffic light. Coupled with the red light shown on the other side of the road, netizens speculated that the lorry had dashed the red light.
As the blue lorry was halfway through the yellow box, it T-boned a white van travelling along Kaki Bukit Road 4.
The impact from the collision sent the van tumbling before landing on its back near a traffic light.
After the incident, a man in a helmet rushed across the road to check on the van driver. He was joined by another cyclist who cut across the junction.
Two other men, also in helmets, joined the pair as the video ended.
In response to MS News‘ queries, an SCDF spokesperson confirmed that one person was conveyed to Changi General Hospital.
MS News has also reached out to the police for further details.
