LUSH Aesthetics Giving Away 40,000 Free Masks On 7 Mar At Orchard, Bedok, Harbourfront & Jurong East

LUSH Aesthetics Giving Free Masks To Public On 7 Mar

We’ve passed the 1-month mark of the Covid-19 outbreak and are quickly approaching our second month of dealing with the coronavirus, but supplies like masks and hand sanitiser are still a pain to get our hands on.

Though many kind residents in various neighbourhoods around Singapore have been leaving bottles of hand sanitiser in lifts and common areas for others to use, free masks for the public are almost non-existent now.

LUSH aesthetics is bringing free masks back to the public again, and giving them out at many more locations than other donors have previously.

Read on for more details about the event that’s happening this Saturday (7 Mar).

Giveaway on 7 March at 5 locations

On 7 Mar, LUSH Aesthetics will be giving away 40,000 masks to the public at 5 different locations across Singapore.

To ensure that they’ve covered a decent area, they have giveaway points located in the East, South, West and Central regions of Singapore.

Here are the locations of the giveaway:

  • Orchard MRT Station
  • The Centrepoint, #02-K01 (in front of Gyu-Kaku)
  • Bedok Mall, B2 MRT Linkway
  • Jurong East MRT Station (next to Starbucks)
  • Harbourfront Centre, L2 Mini Atrium (next to KFC)

The event will take place at these locations from 1-3pm.

Each pack distributed will contain 5 masks.

A chance for the public to get free masks

LUSH Aesthetics explained that they organised this event to allow those who did not have the means to buy masks to get them for free, so they could protect themselves from Covid-19.

They also mentioned that the masks are being given away for free, so that people won’t have to turn to sellers who wish to exploit the situation for profits to buy them.

They said in their press release,

LUSH Aesthetics hopes that this small gesture will help as many as possible to get hold of this essential supply during this time of need.

If you plan on going down to get yourself some masks, do go early. We expect to see massive queues of people heading there to collect masks.

A massive thank you to LUSH Aesthetics for their generosity in giving these masks away. We’re certain many Singaporeans will appreciate the gesture, and hopefully they’ll put the masks to good use.
