Singaporeans were recently disgusted and outraged to see pictures of a man claiming he sniffed female undergarments at HDB corridors in Choa Chu Kang and Tampines.
The Instagram account has since been taken down.
On Friday (16 Aug), 1 day after the pictures were shared, police arrested the 34-year-old man for allegedly sharing pictures of himself smelling female undergarments on Instagram.
Police reportedly received reports the previous day regarding 3 Instagram posts. They contained captions claiming that he had performed indecent acts along HDB corridors in Tampines and Yew Tee.
The man was swiftly identified by cops from the Jurong Police Division and was arrested at around 4.30am on Friday for public nuisance.
The 34-year-old will be charged on Saturday (17 Aug). If convicted, he could be fined $1,000.
Kudos to the cops for their swift actions in bringing the man to justice.
