Sanrio fans unite! Your favourite series of Sanrio characters are hitting the beach at Philippines this Oct.
From giant Gudetama inflatables to kawaii Hello Kitty overwater playgrounds, Sanrio fans are guaranteed to have a great time at this Sanrio Float Town.
According to Philippine Primer, the new Sanrio Float Town will be open to the public from 31 Oct till 31 Jan at Subic Bay Waters, Philippines.
This Sanrio Float Town is the biggest floating playground in Asia, and recently went under a revamp.
The new opening of this float town will introduce iconic Sanrio characters like Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kero-Keroppi, Little Twin Stars, and of course, Gudetama.
So now, let us bring you through this magical and fun float town.
Starting us off is the iconic lazy egg — Gudetama. At the float town, visitors can expect to see more than 30 Gudetama inflatables lounging on the beach.
A giant Gudetama inflatable accompanied by yellow sunflowers and baby Gudetamas will definitely feel like heaven to you Gudetama lovers out there.
In addition to the cute outlook of this Gudetama heaven, is the Sunflower Lounge where you can relax on the beach beds. The giant sunflowers also act as an umbrella to shield you from the scorching sun.
Hello Kitty fans, there’s something for you too. The Sanrio Float Town also has a huge inflatable Hello Kitty overwater playground.
This pastel-coloured playground lying afloat the blue sea is not only super pretty but Insta-worthy as well.
Apart from that, you can also choose to get into the water via a My Melody slide, or hang out in the sea on one of the 17 Hello Kitty floats.
The Pink Bali Lounge located opposite the Sunflower Lounge has My Melody statues and pink backgrounds for to take cute pictures on.
This lounge is basically cuteness overload.
Even though these attractions appear to be catered for kids, the float town is open to adults too.
In addition, despite the fun this float town offers, life vests and lifeguards will also be on duty. This makes sure that while having fun, everyone’s safety will not be compromised.
If by now you’ve been enticed by the kawaii attractions they have, here are some details on getting there.
