A recent fight involving three men in Sengkang ended in one being thrown into a dumpster.
According to the SG Road Vigilante Facebook page, the incident occurred on Tuesday (5 Nov) near Block 432A Sengkang West Way.
In a video posted on the Facebook page, three men stood near several dumpsters in front of a stationary garbage truck.
One of the men, dressed in black, was barefoot and appeared slightly uncoordinated.
He pointed aggressively at a man in white, while the third person in a blue shirt tried to hold him back.
The man in black approached his target and threw a punch at point-blank range, but somehow missed.
He ended up stumbling past for a metre or two from the sheer force of the swing.
Not relenting, the man in black returned and threw a high kick. He followed it up with a wild punch that connected.
The footage then cut to another scene showing the men in black and white grappling with each other.
At this moment, the person in blue picked up the alleged attacker by his legs before bringing them over to the nearest dumpster.
Working together, they managed to get the black-shirted man’s head and shoulders into the bin.
However, the dumpster had wheels so they ended up just pushing it along when trying to shove the rest of him inside.
The person in white then held the dumpster in place.
After more struggle, the man in blue successfully dumped the man in black into the trash.
The sight left the cameraman unable to suppress his laughter.
Netizens found the video highly amusing as well.
“He just turned [into] treasure,” one commenter said, referencing the slogan “let’s turn trash to treasure” on the refuse truck behind them.
Another netizen joked that the two men were very inconsiderate as they did not close the dumpster cover after ‘disposing’ of the black-shirted individual.
Many took the situation light-heartedly and even praised the pair for their actions.
However, one user criticised the cheerful reaction from netizens, noting that he could have gotten injured from such an act.
They even felt that the cameraman should have intervened to stop the incident.
In response to MS News‘ queries, the police confirmed that they are “looking into” the incident.
