S’porean Finds Possibly Cursed Yellow Cloth In His Shoes, Asks Culprit To Come Forward

Man Finds Suspicious Yellow Cloth Lodged In Shoe Outside Of His House

Whether you’re a firm believer or not, black magic is a concept that has existed for aeons. In some circles, it is a practice that has been passed down from one generation to another.

While the idea of magical forces is easy to dismiss, being on the receiving end of a supposed curse can be scary. Perhaps taking the threat seriously would be wise then.

So when a Singaporean man found a suspicious yellow cloth in one of his shoes, he understandably became quite upset.

While such a find may cause some to panic, this man had a more important goal in mind — to catch the culprit who did it.

Implying that the camera at his front door had caught the suspect in the act, he demanded that they come forward before he released the footage online.

Culprit who placed yellow cloth apparently caught on camera

In a Facebook post on Monday (23 Aug), Facebook user Azrie shared his strange discovery along with a cautionary caption.

In what appears to be a warning to the perpetrator, he attached photos of the yellow cloth that he found in his shoe. A closer look shows the cloth seemingly tied up like a pouch with unknown contents.

Noting that he has footage of the culprit, Azrie stated that he is giving them “a bit of time” before uploading the video.

Yellow cloth may be a curse of sorts

Netizens who may not recognise what the yellow cloth resembles left curious responses to Azrie’s post, unsure of what was going on.

However, those privy to common black magic rituals were quick to identify the item. The execution of the curse leaves a lot to be desired, though, as a netizen suggested.

According to Islam Q&A, a Taweez, as the netizen mentioned, is an amulet or locket containing verses from Islamic prayers.

While often used as a form of protection, some may misconstrue it for more dangerous purposes. Common cases may include witchcraft intended to harm specific parties.

The cloth, which also resembles the ones used to wrap certain gravestones, is typically allegedly used in black magic enchantments to “invite negative energy” and create disturbances in people’s homes.

Hope culprit comes forward

Though we can’t be entirely sure of the harmful effects the suspicious yellow cloth may bring, the potential risk is surely concerning for the man and his family.

We thus hope that the culprit will come forward to clear the air with Azrie himself and settle any issues amicably.
