The clearance height signs placed on structures and buildings should be strictly adhered to by drivers, and for some pretty good reason.
On Wednesday (9 Jun), a trailer carrying a cylindrical object that bears resemblance to a time machine was reportedly stuck under an overhead bridge along Telok Blangah Road.
Pictures of the incident were shared a day later on the SG Road Vigilante Facebook group:
In the pictures, a trailer carrying a large cylinder was seen seemingly stuck under an overhead bridge along Telok Blangah Road.
The bridge has a sign warning drivers that the clearance height is 4.5 metres.
Going by the surroundings, the picture happened near the intersection of Labrador Villa Road and Telok Blangah Road.
A group of police vehicles and personnel were seen parked behind the trailer.
MS News has reached out to the police for more information regarding the case.
We hope the cylindrical object wasn’t damaged as a result of the incident and that nobody was injured during the process.
