Teresa Ville Covid-19 patient warded since 17 Feb

Said resident has been in hospital since Monday (17 Feb) and their unit was served with a Home Quarantine Order the next day.

Their gender and name were not revealed in the notice, although it’s believed that they are one of the new cases reported by MOH on Tuesday (18 Feb).

According to the notice, the management took immediate action, disinfecting lifts and their lobbies, along with other common areas.

Overall, the notice serves as a reassurance to residents that the estate has been and will remain cleaned regularly.

Safe to use common areas after disinfecting

Apparently, residents are still permitted to use the common facilities in the condo, as management believe “the situation is still under control”.

However, as part of their precautions, they’ve taken a few measures:

  • increased cleaning frequencies for the estate
  • increased cleaning manpower from 19 Feb onwards
  • temperature checks for all staff and walk-in visitors

An MS News reader confirmed to us that the notice is real. We’ve also reached out to the condo management.

Good to see MOH guidelines followed at Teresa Ville Condominium

The notice ends off by noting that condo management are watching the situation closely with the authorities.

There should be little cause for alarm for Teresa Ville Condominium residents, as common areas have been cleaned.

However, to keep yourself and others safe, do wash your hands regularly, especially after visiting public areas or having contact with common equipment such as lifts.

We hope this patient fully recovers from the virus.
