Ms Dang explained that she turned 40 the very same day they held the ‘Dear You’ screening.
The WP Punggol team previously organised the event for residents on 28 July.

My volunteers surprised me with a birthday cake, and I had the privilege of celebrating this milestone surrounded by my team, our volunteers, and the wonderful residents of Punggol.
She also received a handmade card filled with touching messages from their regular house visit volunteers.
Ms Dang mentioned that many people had asked her how it feels to turn 40.
“I told them that, honestly, it feels very much the same,” she said.

Ms Dang explained that in her 20s, she was too busy “experiencing life” to know what she wanted.
In her 30s, she started to explore different paths, changed directions, and gradually discovered what mattered to her.
Now in a new decade of life, Ms Dang said she felt an unprecedented sense of clarity about the values she wants to live by and the work that gives her purpose.
That clarity is what makes turning 40 feel exciting. And in many ways, I feel like my life has only just begun.

In her Facebook post, she took time to reach out to the younger folks too.
Ms Dang said: “Life gets better as you come to truly know yourself and make choices that resonate with who you are.”
And for those approaching 40, she said that there was still so much ahead for them in life.
