On Wednesday (12 Oct), a service number 853 bus crashed into a road divider in Ang Mo Kio.
The bus was carrying nine passengers when the accident occurred. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.
The bus captain driving the bus has since been suspended and is currently assisting with investigations.
In a video posted on the ROADS.sg Facebook page, the Tower Transit bus can be seen trapped in between trees and a road barrier, with half of the vehicle on each side of the road.
According to the caption of another video, the incident happened at about 11.30am on Wednesday (12 Oct), along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3.
The affected area of the road appears to have been cordoned off. Workers were seen signalling to the driver to help him reverse the bus.
Subsequently, the driver managed to reverse the bus back onto the main road.
Responding to MS News’ queries, a Tower Transit spokesperson shared that there were nine passengers on the bus when the incident occurred.
Thankfully, no one was injured.
The bus captain has since been suspended, and investigations are currently ongoing.
