There were bizarre occurrences in our heartlands this ‘Circuit Breaker’, including a man jamming to EDM on a sidewalk and otters visiting KK Hospital.
But earlier today (18 May), ROADS.sg compiled a series of baffling images in this Facebook post, depicting a car found at an HDB courtyard.
The car appeared stuck in front of the void deck’s pillar at Pasir Ris, leaving netizens confused about how it got there in the first place.
The post states that the incident occurred this morning (18 May) at “around 9.30am”, where a black car had driven into the void deck area of a HDB estate.
The incident apparently occurred at Pasir Ris Street 21, Blk 235.
As seen in the pictures, a P-plate was visible in the car’s rear window. Netizens pointed out that this could be a sign that the driver might still be learning how to drive.
Taking a look from a further angle, it seems almost impossible for a car to go that off track, landing in the middle of the concrete void deck, as seen in this image by SG Road Vigilante.
Hence, this resulted in a flurry of theories in the comments section.
Some suggested that the driver knocked down a tree after losing control of the vehicle and ended up there.
As to whether this theory is true, we can see a fallen tree in this image here.
We do extend our condolences to the palm tree too.
Others took a more humorous approach to the situation, but we do sincerely hope that no one was hurt in the incident.
On a more serious note, we should be vigilant from here on when we’re heading out to buy essentials from our homes.
Despite fewer cars on the road lately, we still need to remain attentive and take road safety seriously.
Most of all, we hope that the driver & residents emerged from the affair uninjured & that repair work on the pillar and car will commence smoothly.
