A 27–year-old male driver is assisting police investigations after ramming his car through a road divider along Upper Bukit Timah Road on Sunday (20 Sept) night.
Footage of the aftermath posted on Facebook showed that the black Volvo had crashed into the kerb on the opposite side of the road.

The series of clips, posted on Sunday night, was recorded along Upper Bukit Timah Road in the direction of Dairy Farm Road, said the original poster (OP).
A long section of metal railing lining the road divider was observed to have been destroyed during the accident.

Only twisted metal remained, pieces of which lay scattered across the divider and road, together with vegetation.

Due to the numerous pieces of metal on the road, passing motorists had to drive past slowly, with loud screeching heard as vehicles drove over the debris.

Further ahead, the black Volvo had stopped with its hazard lights blinking and facing against the flow of traffic.

The car had been damaged in the crash, with dents on its bonnet and front bumper noticeable.

In response to queries from MS News, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said it was alerted to the accident at about 11.35pm on Sunday.
It took place along Upper Bukit Timah Road, and involved a car that was believed to have self-skidded.
No injuries were reported, but a 27-year-old male car driver is assisting with investigations.
Police investigations are ongoing.
