A chicken taking a relaxing soak in a pot of herbal soup had seniors at a Singapore senior activity centre doing a double take.
The wholesome prank has since gone viral, with the TikTok clip racking up over 1 million views at the time of writing.
Posted on TikTok on 5 Sept, the Original Poster (OP) captured the seniors’ reactions to the unusual sight.
The pot was filled with goji berries and other herbal ingredients, while the chicken sat half-submerged in the broth, its legs propped against the side of the pot as though it were lounging in a spa.

The OP said: “We recreated it with chicken and herbs as we were making herbal chicken soup for lunch that day.”
Later, some of the elderly members wandered into the kitchen and came across the herbal soup pot for themselves.
The first auntie to spot the chicken immediately joked that it was a “poor thing”, as it looked like it was calling for help.
