Woody usually isn’t scary. But one Hong Kong artist by the Instagram handle of @playmomo decided otherwise.
He’s decided to turn the cheerful, harmless Woody we all know from Toy Story adventures into something horrifying. And if you’ve seen the latest instalment of the movie, his dolls should give you a little PTSD.
To start you off, here’s Woody being fatherly and taking care of some adorable little children — notwithstanding that strange green addition to his toupee.
In Woody’s world, it doesn’t matter whether you believe in spirits of the dead, because they’ll be watching you in their nebulous monochrome form anyway.
While Pennywise peeking from behind a pillar would certainly scare the entrails out of us, Woody seems to give no care. Whatever it is, there seems to be something very sinister about the way he’s laughing.
They say that no one is really as they are — we all wear a mask of some kind. Woody, as it appears, is no exception. No prizes for guessing what he’s hiding behind his mask.
Alright, alright, to be fair, not all of his set-ups are meant to creep people out.
There are some lighthearted ones featuring Woody doing everyday things — like removing a police cone with the intention of cleaning something. We’re just hoping it’s not some bloody murder he’s trying to cover up.
Here’s Woody as a coolie. With those ripped arms, he should have no trouble earning the affection of all the Bo Peeps out there.
A true adventurer never stays in one place for long, and Woody is no exception. Here, he can be seen hanging out with his pal Keanu Reaves.
We’re not really sure what Pooh did to deserve being ganged up on by Woody Stark and friends. And of course, no humiliation is complete without video evidence.
Mong Kok station sure gets crowded sometimes. Just make sure you don’t bump into the wrong persons or creatures.
