Harsh hours for his daughter

He said his wife is seven months pregnant and that he would give it his all for his soon-to-be-born daughter.

In the caption, he wrote his simple objective: make ฿70,000 by working non-stop for a month.

“Day 31 mission complete,” he wrote. In total, he made ฿70,074 (~S$2,670). The money would be for the childbirth and any expenses for the newborn.

The clip then shows a montage of the month he has had, including working through rain storms, as Thailand faced heavy rain in the latter half of October.

Netizens praise him for effort but also expressed surprise at amount

“The real life Gwan-sik,” one commenter wrote, referencing the male lead from the K-drama ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’.

Many others joined in on praising the soon-to-be father for his efforts.

One commenter also expressed surprise that a delivery rider could make that much in just a month.

The rider clarified in the comments that he would be making a bit less in a regular month.

“This was after the floods, so the bonus was substantial,” he explained. “I would start work at 6am and work until 9-11pm for 31 days.”

The explanation only drew more praise.
