A female doctor and owner of a famous clinic in Thailand sought help from a local complaint Facebook page after she discovered that her girlfriend of six years is actually married.
She allegedly spent at least 20 million baht (THB) (about S$765,000) on her, believing they would get married and build a family.
However, when Thailand finally allowed same-sex marriage last year, the woman repeatedly refused to marry the doctor.
Her suspicions led her to investigate and uncover that her girlfriend was already married to a man.
According to Matichon, the pair met on Facebook in 2019, after the woman posted about recently going through a breakup.
The doctor hit her up and asked about her relationship status, to which she replied she was single.

After talking for several months, the pair met in person at a festival and developed feelings for each other.
The doctor then moved to Khon Kaen province to be closer to her girlfriend.
She also left her job as part-time doctor at a hospital and invested in a clinic she found for sale in the province.
The doctor also employed her girlfriend to work at the front desk of the clinic. She paid her a high salary of THB50,000 (about S$1,900) each month.
Throughout their relationship, the woman allegedly enjoyed splurging on branded goods such as handbags, cosmetics, and jewellery, purchases that the doctor indulged.
The doctor even bought the woman an H-RV, but she allegedly complained and requested for a BMW X1 instead.

Additionally, the doctor also bought her gold and an iPhone 14 Pro Max.
She estimated that she had spent at least 20 million baht (about S$765,000) on her girlfriend over their six-year relationship.
In the last three to four years, the doctor began to notice that the woman had been neglecting her work at the clinic. Instead, she preferred to party and socialise with her coworkers.
When same-sex marriage was legalised in Thailand in January 2025, the doctor suggested they get married. However, the woman repeatedly declined.
The doctor became suspicious and began investigating.
It was then that she discovered the heartbreaking truth: her girlfriend was already married and was living in the same house as her husband.

When she confronted her, the woman claimed she was forced to marry her husband and cohabit with him.
The doctor also alleged that the THB20 million (about S$765,000) she gave her girlfriend was spent entirely on her husband.
The doctor claims the woman is now threatening her, keeping her from returning to work at the clinic.
She shared that story with the public to let her former patients know that she no longer works at the clinic near the woman’s home.
Additionally, the doctor is demanding that the woman return all assets she had gifted her.
She added that the woman’s parents should provide evidence to support their claim that their daughter had only borrowed the money from her.
The doctor revealed that she plans to pursue legal action to the fullest extent to seek justice.
Meanwhile, the founder of the complaint Facebook group said he will coordinate with the local police to investigate the facts of the matter.
He also plans to contact the woman for clarification, Channel 3 reported.
