A 33-year-old male car driver was arrested early on Tuesday (22 Sept) morning when an e-vaporiser was found on him after being involved in a two-car accident in Ang Mo Kio.
A photo of the aftermath posted in a Telegram chat group for motorists showed the wrecked car stopped across two lanes of Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5.

According to the image, the front of the black car was severely damaged, with a large dent in the middle, its bumper falling off and its airbags deployed.
Large pieces of debris from the car lay strewn across the road.
Nearby, a man was sitting on the kerb of the road divider, with two people checking on him.
Judging from the photo, the accident appeared to have taken place at the intersection of Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5 with the Central Expressway (CTE), in the vicinity of ITE College Central.

In response to queries from Shin Min Daily News, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said it was alerted to the accident at 1.45am on 22 Sept.
It took place along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5 in the direction of Buangkok Green, and involved a car and a taxi.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said that they assessed two people for injuries, but they both declined to be sent to the hospital.
One of the injured was a 33-year-old male car driver, who was subsequently arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs.
A vape and a pod that were found in his possession were seized.
The vape-related offence has been referred to the Health Sciences Authority (HSA).
Police investigations are ongoing.
