Teenager assisting with police investigations

The case was referred to the Singapore Police Force (SPF) for further investigation.

A 19-year-old male teenager is assisting with these investigations for an offence under the Guns, Explosives and Weapons Control Act 2021, which came into force on 1 July 2025.

The import of toy or replica guns into Singapore is not allowed unless approval is granted from the police.

In the Facebook post, ICA affirmed its mission as “Guardians of Our Borders” to facilitate trade and travel while keeping Singapore’s borders safe and secure.
