Lan Fong Yuen Milk Tea Now Available For $2.80 At Local 7-Eleven And NTUC Outlets

Lan Fong Yuen Bottled Milk Tea Costs $2.80/Cup

Singaporeans who travel frequently to Hong Kong (HK) will surely be familiar with Lan Fong Yuen (LFY) — the institution rumoured to have invented the world-famous silk stocking milk tea.

Now, Singaporeans craving for their smooth and aromatic milk tea will no longer have to make the 2,500km journey north.

That’s because LFY milk tea is now available at 7-Eleven and NTUC stores in Singapore!

We can already hear milk tea fanatics going cray, so here’s a quick preview.

Perfect pick-me-up

LFY milk tea comes packaged in a convenient 300ml to-go plastic cup that makes it the perfect morning pick-me-up.

Don’t be fooled by its small volume. LFY milk tea packs quite the caffeine punch. There’s even a warning on the side warning insomnia-inflicted consumers against drinking it at night.

LFY milk tea also comes with a pull-out straw for you to poke through the metal foil on the lid.

That will certainly save you from the troublesome spills associated with traditional to-go cups.

$2.80 per cup

LFY milk tea will cost $2.80 per cup, but given how it essentially saves you money on your airfare, we think that’s quite a fair price.

In fact, prior to it making an appearance on our shores, LFY milk tea was going for far higher prices.

LFY signature milk tea can be seen going for $6.50 per bottle in this listing from 6 months back — more than twice the retail price now.

Quite worth it now, don’t you think?

15 cups up for grabs

Don’t worry if the price tag is still too steep for you. 7-Eleven is currently holding a Facebook contest where 3 lucky winners will each take home a carton of LFY milk tea, containing 15 cups. That’s $42 worth of milk tea right there.

All you have to do is tag 5 friends in this post, and tell them why you deserve to win!

7-Eleven has yet to disclose the closing date of the contest. But if we were you, we’d do it ASAP so that we don’t miss out on the chance.

So if you know of a die-hard milk tea fan, tag them in the comments below so they wouldn’t miss out on the latest milk tea craze in town!
