They made these arrests acting on regular tip-offs from the National Private Hire Vehicle Association and the National Taxi Association.
All six vehicles used in illicit operations were impounded.
In a separate Facebook post, Senior Minister of State for Transport Sun Xueling also shared that the enforcement operations took place over two weeks.
With these, the total number of impounded cars due to illegal cross-border ride-hailing activities since July 2025 is now at 260, said Senior Minister Sun.

She assured that authorities “will continue [their] efforts to enhance commuter safety for cross-border travels and protect the livelihoods of our local point-to-point transport drivers.”
The LTA also reminded that offenders caught providing unlicensed cross-border passenger transport may face hefty penalties.
Convicted drivers may be subjected to a fine of up to S$3,000, a jail term of up to six months, or both.
Offenders may also see their vehicles forfeited.
Additionally, the LTA urged travellers to only book Singapore-registered cross-border taxis.
Licensed cross-border ride-hailing services on Grab are also available for trips to Johor Bahru, Iskandar Puteri, Forest City, Kulai and Senai.
Witnesses should also report illegal ride-hailing activities at go.gov.sg/report-illegal-rides.
