A night out got memorable for all the wrong reasons for two men in Thailand after their mookata stove exploded mid-meal.
The clip, timestamped at 8.15pm on 21 Aug, showed the two men calmly grilling some meat just outside their workplace before disaster struck.
Just moments after one of the men put some meat on the grill, the whole stove exploded. White smoke covered the two men as sparks shot from the stove.
A loud bang could also be heard accompanying the explosion.

Seconds after the explosion, the two men scrambled from the scene.
Minutes later, members of the public were investigating the scene, wondering what had just happened.
According to Siam News, the incident took place at a repair shop in Prachin Buri province in central Thailand. The two men were brothers, aged 38 and 30.
The pair had been enjoying a mookata meal along with their coworkers at the shop just after work. They suffered minor injuries, with small burns to their torso and arms.

The older man recalled the moment to reporters, saying that he had only placed two pieces of meat on the grill before the explosion. He said he had been on the phone, inviting his girlfriend to join them when the stove exploded.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the explosion.
