A motorcyclist in Columbia miraculously survived an accident where he was launched into a bus through an open door after colliding with it.
Footage circulating online showed him speeding and running a red light just as the bus was crossing an intersection.
Timestamps on the videos indicated that the accident occurred at around 1.39pm on 30 Aug (Colombia Time, UTC−5). The motorcyclist appeared to have survived with only minor injuries.
In a security camera video which captured the moment of the impact, the man’s motorcycle could be heard from offscreen.
Another motorcyclist, who stopped at the intersection, could be seen turning around to catch a glimpse of the man approaching the intersection.
Unfortunately, the man does not slow down in time to avoid the bus crossing the intersection.
As luck would have it, the bus had its doors open at the time and the man flew straight into the vehicle through the narrow gap.

His motorcycle, on the other hand, smashed into the side of the bus before coming to a stop on the road.
According to a video on Reddit that has since been deleted, a security camera inside the bus also captured the moment the man flew in.
In the aftermath, he could be seen getting up on his own and exiting the bus, seemingly unharmed by the horrific crash.

According to Pulzo, the accident occurred in Buga, Colombia.
Authorities said that the motorcyclist left the scene and has not been located since. He reportedly abandoned his motorcycle at the scene and it is currently held by police.
Authorities searched local medical centres but found no one matching his description.
Based on the footage, they are urging the motorcyclist to seek medical attention as soon as possible.
