Homegrown payment service group NETS will be extending their Go Cashless campaign by rewarding consumers with 50 cents discount when they pay using NETS QR code at eateries.
The promotion officially rolls out today and will be valid on every Wednesday till 29 Aug.

The earlier edition of the campaign that ended in May saw overwhelming responses and a close to 500% increase in NETS QR code transactions.
Now, over 3,000 hawker canteens and hawker stalls accept this payment mode.
In an attempt to encourage more hawkers to install NETS terminals, NETS have also waived the transaction and terminal fees for them for 3 years.
As this city-state is moving towards becoming a smart cashless society, more stall owners are jumping onto the bandwagon by implementing contactless payments.
