A 62-year-old plumber was charged in Malaysia for allegedly setting a car on fire after hallucinating that a couple was having sex inside the vehicle.
According to local reports, the incident happened at Jalan Midah 1, Cheras, on 31 Aug.
The man purportedly saw a foreign man and a woman entering the car to perform sexual acts.
Thinking there were people inside the vehicle, he knocked on the door.
Then, he allegedly threw a flammable substance under the car, causing it to catch fire.

Cheras district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Rosdi Daud said police arrested the suspect in Desa Tun Razak less than 24 hours after the incident.
They found a bottle containing a liquid believed to be thinner in the man’s vehicle, which is suspected to have been used as an accelerant in the fire.
“The suspect was also believed to be under the influence of drugs at the time,” Mr Rosdi said, according to New Straits Times.
A check revealed that the suspect had no previous criminal records.
However, he tested positive for methamphetamine and amphetamine in an initial urine screening, said the police chief.

He was remanded for three days, from 2 to 4 Sept, to assist investigations under Section 435 of the Penal Code for committing mischief by fire or explosive substance.
The offence carries a maximum jail term of 14 years and a fine upon conviction.
Later, the investigation papers were referred to the deputy public prosecutor’s office.
This instructed police to charge the suspect under the same section.
On 4 Sept, the man was charged at the Jalan Duta Magistrate’s Court in Kuala Lumpur, where he pleaded not guilty.
The court ordered him to be remanded at Sungai Buloh Prison pending his next court mention on 26 Oct.
