A “Pokémon” sighting in Yishun recently gave a passenger an unexpectedly adorable send-off as they exited the carpark.
TikTok user @sistah_dee shared a video on 3 Oct showing an Eevee mascot appearing at what appeared to be the carpark at SAFRA Yishun.
The encounter took place in the evening, with several parked cars and the car park’s overhead signs visible in the background. A McDonald’s outlet was also visible nearby.

In the video, the Original Poster (OP) appeared to be filming from the passenger seat when the costumed Eevee walked past their vehicle.
As the OP passed the mascot, it turned around, stood on one leg, and then gave a little wave after the OP said, “Bye Eevee!”

The video ends as the car drives away, leaving Eevee behind in the car park.
The short clip has since gained traction on TikTok, with many netizens amused by the unusual sighting at SAFRA Yishun.
A netizen jokingly asked why the OP didn’t catch the Pokémon, to which they replied that they “never bring pokeball”.

Speaking to MS News, the OP, who wished to be known as Dee, said the wholesome encounter happened on 2 Oct at around 7.09pm.
Dee and her family enjoy collecting Pokémon cards and had visited a Pokémon Tradeshow at SAFRA Yishun, specifically the Nexus × Slab Acad Midnight Tradeshow.
“We saw the mascot earlier at the event, but its appearance at the car park genuinely surprised us,” Dee said.
“The person in the Eevee costume did a great job, entertaining and bringing smiles to children and everyone young at heart!” she added.
