Mazita Mazelan, the man’s sister-in-law, explained that the patient had suffered a heart attack at home and “suddenly became quiet and unresponsive” while they were en route to the hospital, Oriental Daily News reported.

By chance, they encountered a patrol car on the road.

“There happened to be a patrol car in front of the food court, so I immediately asked for help from the officers,” Madam Mazelan shared.

Police clear the way for vehicle carrying patient

Upon learning of the emergency, Lance Corporal Khairulisyam Kamarudin and Support Lance Corporal Amar Amsyar Annuar sprang into action.

They escorted the family’s vehicle, activating their police car’s sirens to clear a path.

A video recorded from the patient’s car captures the vehicle following the police unit as it effectively navigated through traffic, with the family’s distress audible in the background.
