On Tuesday (May 16), a fire broke out in Punggol at the Global Indian International School, which is still undergoing construction.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force was alerted to the fire at a construction site opposite 17, Punggol Field Walk.

Two workers were reported to have been trapped on the gondola when the electricity was cut after the fire broke out, but have since been rescued, reported Today.
