It’s the school holidays now and if you plan on bringing your ‘lil ones to the cinemas for a movie, here’s a deal you should not miss out on.


From now till 1 Jan 2020, Singtel customers can enjoy 1-for-1 movie tickets at Cathay Cineplex cinemas so you can watch shows like Ip Man 4 or Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, but at half the usual price.

By the way, movie-goers can enjoy the promotion on every day of the week, including weekends. So if you’re planning on combo-ing your leave this weekend, this one’s perfect for you.

Redeem 1-for-1 Cathay Cineplex tickets using My Singtel app

To qualify for the promotion, simply install the My Singtel app on your phone and log in with the Singtel Onepass before heading down to any Cathay Cineplex cinemas islandwide.


Afterwards, click on ‘Rewards’, followed by ‘Arts & Entertainment’, before selecting ‘Cathay Cineplexes’.

A barcode will then show up on the app. Simply allow the staff at the cinema to scan this barcode and you’re all set to enjoy the promotion.

Promotion valid for the first 500 Singtel customers

Do note that the 1-for-1 promotion is only valid for the first 500 Singtel customers daily at every Cathay Cineplex cinema.

Additionally, the deal is not applicable for Singtel Prepaid or Corporate BRN customers.



The promotion is limited to 1 redemption per customer daily, and is only applicable for walk-ins.
