Netizen allegedly stalks Singaporean office lady to her home and takes ‘a few big whiffs’ of her shoes

A netizen recently drew criticism for allegedly following a Singaporean woman home and smelling her shoes.

In a now-deleted X post, the Original Poster (OP) even wrote that the shoes were “deliciously fragrant” and said they felt “truly lucky” to have been able to smell them.

Confessed to the act in a now-deleted X post, reposted on Instagram later

On Saturday (19 Sept), Instagram page @sgfollowsall compiled photos and videos from the X post before it was deleted.

The first slide shows a video the OP took while following the woman from behind as she carried a McDonald’s lunch bag.

Unaware of the OP’s presence, she walks on through the void deck corridor. The OP then zooms in on her shoes before the clip ends.

Another photo shows the OP holding the woman’s shoes, which are a pair of dirty-soled silver mules.

The second slide shows the original post, written in Mandarin.

The final slide carries an English translation, in which the OP opens with a lewd comment, describing Singapore as a paradise for sexual gratification.

According to the post, the OP spotted a “beautiful local office lady” leaving work and heading home, and had a “strong hunch” that “her shoes would be dragged outside”.

This prompted them to follow the woman into the elevator.

Claims shoes smelled ‘deliciously fragrant’

The OP claimed the shoes bore heavy sweat stains and wrote: “I thought they’d be super sour and stinky, but actually they were deliciously fragrant.

They added: “Being able to sniff a just-off-work Singaporean OL’s shoes is truly lucky.”

Lastly, the OP said that they “took a few big whiffs” before putting the shoes down, citing “Singapore’s laws”.

Netizens horrified by OP’s confession

The OP’s alarming behaviour concerned many netizens, who called it out as stalking.

Most disapproved of the OP’s actions, describing it as disgusting.

Some are questioning the OP’s decision to publicly expose their fetish online.

A few netizens jokingly offered their own shoes, claiming that the smell is equally as potent.
