It’s day 9 of the circuit breaker. There’s no denying that we’re all bored out of our minds.
You’ve probably given up on home workouts by now, and exhausted every new Netflix show, and you’ve resorted to lepak-ing on the couch, wondering when you’ll next see your friends.
This Redditor however, is doing something creative with their time. They designed a whole new MRT line that we can all use while we’re at home.
Take a look to see which station you’re at now.
Redditor u/Pesantkie turned their home and all other places they’ve been this ‘Circuit Breaker’ into a whole new MRT line — the Stay Home Line.
Let’s take a short ride down the only completely safe MRT line right now.
We start at “Bedroom”, which is notorious for delays in getting out of bed. From there, it takes just 5 steps to get to “Corridor” and 9 more to get to “Bathroom”, the first stop of the day.
After freshening up, it’s time to head off to “Kitchen” for breakfast, but not without dropping your dirty pyjamas off at “Laundry” first.
Before you head off to “Home Office” to start work, you might want to rest at “City Lookout” – also known as “Staring At The Next Block” – to rest your eyes before spending the next 8-10 hours staring at your computer screen.
While working, you dream about lunch time, and long to transfer at “Living Room” so you can take those 75 arduous but oh-so-worth-it steps to “Hawker Centre”.
If you’re not too lazy, you might even take the 20+ more steps to “Supermarket”. That’s probably the furthest you’ve gone all “Circuit Breaker”!
If you miss taking the MRT, this is perfect for you. The best part is, you don’t have to wear a mask, and you won’t get glared at for awkwardly coughing either.
Being cooped up at home isn’t the most fun, but at least we’re getting some good laughs out of it. This is exactly what we needed to brighten up our days and keep us going through this lonely period.
Hopefully, the days pass quicker and this blows over soon. We all want Covid-19 to be snuffed out, so let’s do our part taking only the Stay Home Line.
