Urban Ventures Street Party: Tarot Card Reading, Street Yoga & Typewritten Haikus On 6 Oct

Urban Ventures Street Party At Chinatown

In the blink of an eye, September has quickly drawn to a close, heralding the start of a new month in its wake.

If you don’t have any activities planned yet, there’s no need to FOMO.

Next Saturday (6 Oct), Urban Ventures will be throwing their final street party of 2018.

So jio your friends for tarot card reading, a mass yoga session, intense Capoeira performances, awesome street food and great live music.

Here’s what else you can look forward to at Urban Ventures 11 Street Party.

It is only when we’re struggling to fit into our bottoms do we realise the true effect of our sedentary lifestyles. Before you beat yourself up about it, here’s a piece of good news.

Yoga Movement will take yoga to the streets from 4-5pm at the event. This means no more confining your flexible moves to a stuffy studio.

Reserve your spot by registering here. Do remember to change the date to 6 Oct, fastest fingers first!

3. Haiku for anyone on anything

Have a nice chat with @Haikufever.dave as he types out a personalised haiku just for you.

With a combined age exceeding 100 years old, this 20-year-old writer along with his ancient 80-year-old typewriter, will transform your very thoughts into poetry.

4. Discover quirky knick-knacks at the Artisans’ Market

Don’t forget to catch local acts like Subsonic Eye, Fauxe SG, Cravism, Coming Up Roses, Shirly Temple, and Islandeer!
