A woman and a taxi driver were filmed engaging in a physical fight near the Taipei City Hall MRT Station on Thursday (17 Sept).
The dispute allegedly began after the driver tried to collect payment from the group of women, who claim they have already paid for the delivery.
A Threads user shared two videos of the altercation on the day of the incident.
One video, which appeared to have been taken earlier, shows two women and the male taxi driver having a heated argument on the side of the road.
Meanwhile, the second video shows the dispute escalating into a physical altercation.

The woman in a long white dress began hitting the driver and even audibly smacked his head.
She then hit him again, causing the driver’s eyeglasses to fly off and break in the process.
The taxi driver also retaliated and began hitting the woman back.

The woman’s companion in a yellow dress, now joined by another woman in a black-and-white dress, tried to stop the fight.
At one point, the woman in white tripped, causing the driver to fall to the ground.

The verbal altercation continued as the driver walked towards his taxi, saying, “I need my phone, I’m calling the police!”
The original poster (OP) said someone at the scene called the police. When they arrived, he handed over the videos as evidence.
He also claimed that the taxi driver was injured in the altercation.
According to an FTV report, police took the driver and three women in for questioning.
Police identified the women as Chinese and aged 46 to 49. One had Taiwanese citizenship, while the other two were residents.
They ordered a cake online, and the shop asked the taxi driver to deliver it.
The destination was reportedly changed several times, but it is unclear which party had initiated these changes.
Upon arriving at the destination, the driver asked the woman for payment.
However, the woman claimed she had already paid and accused the man of wanting to collect double payment.
The accusation made the driver, surnamed He, unhappy.
“When I heard that they were from mainland China, I admitted my mistake. I said, how can you mainlanders talk like that?” he claimed.
“Then the three of them ganged up on me and beat me up,” He also alleged.
Both parties have sued each other for assault, FTV reported.
