A motorcyclist crashed into a car that was changing lanes along the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) towards Woodlands on Thursday (1 Oct).
The accident occurred at around 10.16am, near the queue for customs.
In a video posted on the SG Road Vigilante Facebook page, the incident took place near the Woodlands customs checkpoint.
At the start of the video, traffic appears to be moving slowly as vehicles queue to enter customs towards Johor Bahru.

The third lane appears less congested than the other lanes, with several motorcycles travelling through it.
A white car then moves out from the queue and turns right to change lanes.

A motorcycle travelling along the third lane is unable to react in time to the lane-changing car.
The motorcycle crashes into the side of the car and knocks the rider down onto the road.
The rider remains on the ground after the collision.
The impact also leaves a visible dent and deformation on the driver’s side door.

In response to queries from MS News, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to a road traffic accident along BKE towards Woodlands at around 10.30am.
The Singapore Police Force (SPF) was alerted to the accident involving a motorcycle and a car.
Paramedics conveyed an 18-year-old male motorcyclist to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
A 58-year-old male car driver is assisting with investigations.
Police investigations are ongoing.
