For those who donât know what Blueâs Clues is, hereâs Steve and Blue in action to jolt your memory.
Recently, Nickelodeon announced a remake for the iconic series. And we think that children â and adults alike â will be more than impressed with the new host.
Enter, Filipino-American actor Joshua Dela Cruz, who will be taking over the Steveâs iconic role. Hereâs a hunky picture of him that will explain why many adults over at Twitter are already calling themselves new fans of the show.
Time to whip out your Handy Dandy Notebooks, and pen these fun facts down as we get to know our new host, Joshua. You can catch a teaser trailer here:
Blue the dog will be joined on her adventures by Filipino American actor â Joshua Dela Cruz.
Cast for his friendly demeanour and enthusiasm, the actor also makes an effort to stay in tip-top shape, as evidenced by his Instagram posts.
Hereâs Joshua looking casually dapper in a navy blue shirt and jeans, in a behind-the-scenes post of him preparing to film Blueâs Clues via a green screen.
Other fans have also celebrated the diverse casting choice made by Nickelodeonâs team, since Joshua Dela Cruz will be the first Asian host in the showâs history.
Steve Burns â the host of Blues Clues back in the days â was a character that was easily recognised for his green-striped T-shirt.
However, in 2002, Steve left the show abruptly and the real reason behind his departure is still unknown.
According to a report by Huff Post, Steve mentioned that he left the show because he was âbaldingâ and that it just âfelt like the right timeâ to leave.
Blues Clues then changed its host multiple times before ending up with their recent choice.
With the showâs hunky new host, we wish Joshua all the best in creating awesome memories for children all over the world with his new take on it.
But donât be too surprised, if you see parents camping in front of the television with their children to catch Joshua in action too.
We donât have to sit in the Thinking Chair to know that Blueâs Clues will be even more enjoyable for both children and their nostalgic parents who were fans of Steve & Blue.
Guess itâs time to skidoo over to check it out!
