Meanwhile, the health ministry closed 2 clusters, after no new cases were linked to them for 28 days. They are at:

  • Construction site at Tanah Merah Coast Road
  • Dormitory at 17C Tuas Road

509 patients discharged

The total number of recoveries in Singapore is now 25,877, after hospitals discharged 509 patients in today’s update.

248 patients remain hospitalised, with 3 in critical condition in the intensive care unit.

Meanwhile, 12,364 cases are under isolation at community care facilities, and the death toll stands at 25.

Phase 2 could start as early as end-June

If Singapore manages to keep the situation under control, Phase 2 of reopening could start as early end-June.

However, until a vaccine is found, it is unlikely that we can go back to life before ‘Circuit Breaker’.

Till then, we need to learn how to live alongside Covid-19, so that we can still go on with our lives.
