Delivery drivers seen throwing parcels onto road in S’pore, sparking outrage among netizens

Delivery drivers spotted throwing parcels onto the road in Singapore

Recently, a passer-by filmed a pair of delivery drivers throwing parcels onto the road in Singapore.

Although no reason was given for the act, the video quickly sparked backlash, with many netizens criticising them for their irresponsible behaviour.

Parcels and boxes thrown all over the road

In a video posted by @sgfollowsall on Instagram on 22 Oct, the Original Poster (OP) filmed two delivery drivers wearing red, standing along a road somewhere in Singapore.

A heap of parcels and boxes could be seen in front of the van, with the two drivers picking up the parcels and throwing them back down.

One of them headed into the van to pick up more parcels, while the other would grab a few to throw into the pile.

Additionally, one of the drivers could be heard grunting and shouting as he threw the parcel.

The passer-by reacted with shock, but could only stand by and watch helplessly.

Netizens furious about lack of care for parcels

The video quickly drew the attention of netizens, with many expressing shock and horror at the sight.

Many netizens were confused by and disapproved of their actions.

Some netizens urged the OP to report the drivers to their company.

A few netizens showed their sympathy for the delivery drivers, but said it was still “not appropriate” for them to act that way.

One netizen lamented that this was the reason why they sometimes received damaged items.
