A woman in Malaysia discovered that her husband has been cheating on her just 26 days after she gave birth to their first child.
She took to Threads last Saturday (19 Sept) to share her heart-shattering discovery.
The Original Poster (OP) shared that she and her husband got married in August 2025.
She said they live harmoniously and rarely quarrel.
Claiming that she “never slept with tears”, the woman added that her husband fulfilled all her wishes.
However, 26 days after the OP gave birth to their first child, she was heartbroken.

She was playing on her phone while breastfeeding when she came across an app which allegedly contained her husband’s obscene messages with another woman.
“I thought they were messages from before we got married, but it turns out they happened when we were married,” she wrote.
The OP then confronted her husband about her discovery.
He allegedly apologised for cheating and promised not to repeat it for the sake of his wife and child.

“I don’t know if I should believe it or not,” the OP said. “My heart hurts. For the sake of the child, I will give it one last chance.”
She added that she doesn’t want their child to grow up with divorced parents.
Many netizens, particularly women, sympathised with the OP, with some sharing similar experiences with their husbands.

Some also believe that the husband could cheat again.
One user even advised the OP to use contraceptives if she decides to stay with him to avoid getting pregnant again with his baby, so she can leave the marriage more easily.
Translation: Sis, my advice. You can give him a chance, but take a contraceptive. Don’t get pregnant again for now. Be more alert, save money, then if he gets caught red-handed again, keep it as proof and just leave the marriage. Don’t be like me, have three children, giving him a chance for years in the hope that he will change. Men won’t change unless they want to change. It’s been almost 10 years since I let go, but it’s too late. I’m almost 40; what other man would want to be with me? Take care, sis.

In response to netizens’ advice, the OP said she would accept it if their marriage ends in divorce, but hopes they wouldn’t have to do it while their child is still young.
However, she also said she will keep the messages so she can print them out and use them as evidence for divorce when the time comes.
