A 56-year-old male driver died on Sunday (10 May) after crashing his Jaguar into a tree on a road divider in Clementi.
An image of the aftermath posted by SG Road Vigilante on Facebook showed the luxury car wrapped around the tree, almost cut in half.
Its driver was lying halfway out of the door, a pool of blood forming underneath him.

At least two Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officers had arrived, along with police officers.

The original poster (OP) said she had heard loud police and ambulance sirens and realised that an accident had occurred.
In a post on X, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) said the accident had occurred along Clementi Avenue 2 towards the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE), but after Commonwealth Avenue West.

Motorists were advised to avoid lane 1.
At 9,05pm, LTA updated that Clementi Avenue 2 had been closed after Commonwealth Avenue West.

In response to queries from 8world News, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said it was alerted to the accident at about 6.10pm on 10 May.
It took place along Clementi Avenue 2 in the direction of West Coast Road, and involved two cars.

A 56-year-old male driver of one of the cars was taken to the hospital in an unconscious state.
SCDF, which was alerted at about 6.15pm, told MS News that he was conveyed to the National University Hospital (NUH).
He subsequently passed away, SPF added.
Police investigations are ongoing.
