The elderly man posts his photos on the Instagram account ‘@catwolf0314’, which has more than 141,000 followers.
All the photos share the theme of him in a beautiful landscape, typically filled with flowers.
Hilariously, the picturesque scenery did not appear to temper the moods of his two cats. They angrily fight and hiss instead of posing for the photo.

Shushu, a white cat with a black tail, is the older of the two. It was born in 2016 and came to the family’s home in 2021.
Meanwhile, Miko the tabby cat is a youngster born in Sept 2024, who joined them in December that year.
According to Eastweek, the photos are a tribute to the family’s former cat, Wolf, which passed away in 2020.
The elderly man takes photos across Japan with his new cats in remembrance of Wolf.
The juxtaposition of the beautiful landscape and the man’s joyous smile against the cats fighting resulted in the photos going viral.
