A jogger out for a seemingly ordinary night run got an unexpected surprise after spotting someone dressed in a dinosaur costume jogging too.
TikTok user @ohnomarkruns shared a video of the encounter on 14 Sept, showing what appeared to be a person in a full-body dinosaur costume jogging.
The Original Poster (OP) seemed to be running from the Brickland area towards Tengah in the evening when he spotted the unusual figure in the distance.
In the video, the “dinosaur” could be seen jogging on the pathway under the MRT tracks.
The surrounding area looked relatively quiet, with another jogger seen running past the “dinosaur” in the opposite direction.
The OP then zoomed in on the unusual sight, showing the “dinosaur’s” tail swishing as it jogged into the distance.

He later revealed that he had found the person behind the costume, tagging TikTok user @reallynoidea.
“Found the Dino guy @Abu Huzaifah, TikTok is crazy (updated),” the OP said.
The short clip has since caught the attention of netizens, many of whom were amused by the sight of a “dinosaur” jogging at night.
A netizen said that Halloween came a little early, calling the sight “cuteness overload”.

One TikTok user also shared that they wanted to join the “dinosaur” jogger as they had a similar costume that “looks like you’re riding a dinosaur”.

Meanwhile, another commenter joked that the dinosaur costume offered the wearer protection from the haze.

The OP, who wished to remain anonymous, told MS News that they came across the amusing sight on 13 Sept at around 9.30pm.
“My first thought was that it was quite cute, but I immediately thought it must be very hot inside,” the 33-year-old said.
He shared that their jogging paths had crossed that night, and that they went their separate ways after that.
The OP also told MS News that the person in the costume had reached out to him after seeing his TikTok post.
“Hi bro, thank you for capturing the video. I’m the guy in that dinosaur costume actually. LOL,” said the individual.
MS News has also reached out to the person in the dinosaur costume for comment.
