Cute photos of grandmas visiting Sentosa and seeing Labubu for the first time leave netizens smiling

Last week, a trio of grandmothers visited Sentosa and left onlookers and online observers in awe.

The photos showed the three elderly women beaming with childish delight as they explored the aquarium, walked the beach, and saw Labubu for the first time.

The youthful joy endeared the grannies to netizens, with many calling them cute.

Kelvin, who posted the photos online, shared with MS News that the trip took place last Thursday (10 Sept).

Kelvin said his 17-year-old sister, Jessica, brought the three women to Sentosa as their parents were caught up with work.

The photos showed the three women beaming from ear to ear as they posed together in the aquarium.

Kelvin said the trio were wowed by everything from the big infrastructure to the small jellyfish.

A tough trip for the ladies

However, the sheer size of the Singapore Oceanarium meant that the women tired out towards the end.

Kelvin told MS News: “As fascinated as they were, it was also so big. I thought the oceanarium was endless.”

Photos also showed the women marvelling when they reached the Popmart area.

In the caption, Kelvin indicated that the woman had encountered the insanely popular plush toy Labubu for the first time.

He added: “They found the miniatures and figurines both amusing and fascinating.”

The Singapore heat eventually took its toll on the three ladies.

Kelvin mentioned that they had to take a midday nap before carrying on their day out.

Despite all that, the three were all smiles.
