A mistranslated post briefly sent Kep1er fans into a frenzy after it falsely suggested that member Choi Yu-jin, better known as Yujin, was getting married in 2027.
The confusion started when the singer was chatting with fans on Bubble, a messaging platform where K-pop idols can send updates and interact with subscribers, about some recent family photos.
In the pictures, she was seen posing with her father while dressed in a traditional hanbok, while another showed her in a white silk dress.

Naturally, the formal-looking photos prompted some questions. One fan asked Yujin about her younger brother’s upcoming nuptials, to which she replied: “The wedding is next year!”

However, the statement was automatically mistranslated by Bubble as:
I’m getting married next year!
A fan then shared a screenshot of the exchange online, claiming that Yujin had “announced marriage in 2027” on Bubble and had also implied that Kep1er would disband the following year.
Reactions ranged from entertained to genuinely alarmed.
Some fans immediately got the joke and played along, while others admitted the post had briefly convinced them that the idol had casually dropped a wedding announcement on Bubble.

Others were less amused by how far the mistranslation had travelled.
Several users called for the misleading post to be deleted or corrected, pointing out that Yujin had never actually said she was getting married.
