A 29-year-old man was arrested on Thursday (13 Aug) after being found sleeping in a van at a carpark in Yishun.
This was because he was found in possession of suspected drugs, an e-vaporiser and various weapons, said the Singapore Police Force (SPF).

A reader told Shin Min Daily News that he had seen multiple police cars at the foot of his HDB block in Yishun at 7am, as well as a van parked by the roadside.
The 76-year-old man named only as Mr Lin (transliterated from Mandarin) saw police officers removing items from the van and placing them on a grass verge nearby.
The items appeared to have been collected as evidence, but he could not see clearly as his unit is on a high floor.
At about 8am, he saw police dogs deployed to search the vehicle.
When reporters from the Chinese daily arrived at the scene, the van was parked next to a construction site, with workers helping direct traffic along the road.
The van, which bore the livery of van-sharing platform LoadUp, had a dent on its right side, suggesting it may have been involved in an accident.

There were also scuff marks on the door on the driver’s side, which seemed unable to close properly.
Residents interviewed said they had seen the police cars but did not see the van’s driver.
The van was eventually towed away at about 9.20am, after an investigation of than four hours.
LoadUp declined to comment when contacted, citing ongoing investigations.
In response to queries from MS News, SPF said it received a call for assistance at about 5.05am on 13 Aug.
Officers were deployed to Block 333 Yishun Street 31, which is the address of a multi-storey carpark.
