A 19-year-old motorcyclist was left badly injured after being involved in an accident with a lorry in Yishun earlier this month.
In a Facebook post on Sunday (20 Sept), his mother appealed for witnesses, saying her son was in “quite critical condition”.

The mother said the teenager had been involved in the accident sometime between 10.20am and 12 noon on 2 Sept.
The location was somewhere along Yishun Avenue 1, in the direction of Seletar.
After the accident, her son ended up “badly injured and quite in (sic) critical condition”, she added, sharing photos of him lying in a hospital bed with tubes attached to his body.

The mother is appealing for witnesses as the police investigating officer had told her that there was no footage of the accident, she said.
She urged anybody who saw the accident or helped to call the ambulance to send her a message on social media, adding:

In response to queries from MS News, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said it was alerted to the accident at about 11.50am on 2 Sept.
It took place along Yishun Avenue 1 towards Seletar Link, and involved a motorcycle and a lorry.
A 19-year-old male motorcyclist was sent to the hospital in a conscious state.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), which was alerted at the same time, told MS News that he was conveyed to Khoo Teck Phuat Hospital.
Additionally, the motorcyclist is also assisting with police investigations, which are ongoing.
