Mustafa Centre Supermarket Reopens, 325 Shoppers Can Enter At A Time

Other parts of the mall, however, will remain closed, in line with ongoing ‘Circuit Breaker’ measures.

However, safe-distancing measures will be implemented.

The number of entrances and exits have also been reduced, presumably to better control crowds at the mall.

Emerged as Covid-19 cluster on 2 Apr

Mustafa Centre was first identified as a Covid-19 cluster on 2 Apr, and has 124 cases linked to it, as of MOH’s update on Sunday (3 May).

It reportedly closed for 2 weeks from early April to allow for disinfection and was subsequently advised to remain closed for 28 days, reports CNA.

Do not go out unless necessary

While the reopening of Mustafa Centre’s supermarket centre might come as great news for many Singaporeans, do adhere to ‘Circuit Breaker’ measures and avoid heading out unless absolutely necessary.
